Judy Isaacson Schaffer
Judy founded Heroes to Heroes in March 2010 in tribute to her father, a World War II veteran, as a way to honor the service of all veterans, especially those with extreme Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Judy is the Northeast Regional Manager at Regional Reps, a firm representing more than 1,000 small and medium market radio stations throughout the country. In this position Judy works with advertising agencies throughout the northeast to help their clients reach customers in difficult to reach areas throughout the United States. Judy also has experience on Wall Street as a Financial Advisor and in online media.

Cliff Nolan – Co-Founder
PAC Chairman of Teamsters Joint Council No. 73, US Army Veteran. As PAC Chairman, Mr. Nolan is responsible for influencing legislation affecting the Teamsters in New Jersey. In this role, he has raised significant funds for the Wounded Warriors Project, Australia House – an organization that helps terminally ill children by providing them with their dream experiences, the Food Bank of New Jersey, and many other organizations that provide aid to our most vulnerable citizens.
Michael Haltman – Board Chair
Michael Haltman is the owner of Hallmark Abstract Service, a provider of title insurance for residential and commercial real estate transactions in New York. Michael earned both his M.B.A. in Finance (1984) and B.S. in Economics (1980) from SUNY/Albany and has worked as a bond analyst, bond trader and in various capacities within the real estate industry. He focuses much of his time and energy on philanthropic endeavors such as the Long Island Fight for Charity, RLS Foundation and We Care Fund among others and, when he learned of Heroes To Heroes and the great work that it does, knew that he had to get involved. Michael looks forward to his work with this organization helping it grow to the point that it can help as many of our great veterans as possible.
Jared Levy is an equity and managing partner of KAP Planning, LTD, where his practice is focused on risk management and estate planning for ultra high net worth clients and small business owners. Jared is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), MDRT’s Top of the Table and of The Estate Advisory Group. He is also a member of the Jewish National Fund’s Wall Street Society and a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). He also founded The Trusted Advisor Group (TAG) and is a board member of the Estate Planning Council of New York City. Jared earned a BS degree in Economics from SUNY Albany and a University of Pennsylvania’sWharton School Certificate in Retirement Planning. He has also received his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the America College, as well as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. He recently attended the AXA Institute at Harvard University.
Joseph C. Noto, Esq.
Joseph C. Noto is a family law attorney with offices in Wyckoff, Hackensack, Totowa and Verona, New Jersey. A 1965 graduate of St. Johns University School of Law, he was admitted to practice in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in 1968. Mr. Noto is a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and a Member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He also is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, co-founder and member of the New Jersey Council of Collaborative Practices Groups and is a member of the legislative committee of the Council. Mr. Noto was an Infantry Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, earning the Bronze Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and other commendations while serving his country as a paratrooper.
Ronnie Streichler is an educator, curator, award winning photographer and mixed-media artist. She is curator of the New Synagogue of Fort Lee Holocaust Museum and Education Center and was instrumental in the acquisition of an artifact from the World Trade Center for the museum. In the 90’s her one woman shows on recycling were at Liberty Science Center, the Hackensack Meadowlands Environment Center, the DEP Gallery in Trenton and other venues throughout the state. Ms. Streichler believes in giving back to the community and is active in several charitable endeavors. She is a member of the Explorers Club, has done construction for Habitat for Humanity and Bonim Builders. She has donated food to the food bank from her farm in upstate New York and serves as trustee to the land conservancy for property on the farm.

Meredith Smulian Kaim
Meredith Smulian Kaim is Founder and President of Media Artiste LLC, a media and marketing agency. Meredith has a BS degree in Art from NYU and has capitalized on her creative abilities, coupled with her natural analytical and quantitative skills, to design successful media campaigns for national clients at many New York Advertising Agencies. She combines her design and creative experience with a keen eye on her client’s financial realities to create campaigns that are highly effective and exceed expectations. Early on in Meredith’s career she has always embraced opportunities to help others. She is honored to bring her enthusiasm, experience and skills to address the needs of returning United States Veterans through her work with Heroes to Heroes.
