Heroes to Heroes Foundation brings American wounded veterans, who were injured in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam, to Israel for a ten day journey that helps them heal spiritually and emotionally. We are seeking Israeli veterans to travel with our teams of ten Americans for the life-changing journey.
Heroes to Heroes has already sent five teams to Israel and all have been extremely successful. We are looking for Israelis who are interested in developing relations with their American counterparts from many diverse backgrounds. These are not Jewish veterans and it is their first time in Israel so we are looking for the people with the following qualifications:
- English speaking proficiency (conversational)
- Combat veteran
- Able to volunteer to travel in Israel for 10 days (various dates available)
- Good Ambassador for Israel
- Willing to support American veterans who suffer from PTSD and Moral Injury.
Representatives from Heroes to Heroes will be in Israel in January to interview candidates. Interviews will take place in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and we will try to accommodate everyone who is interested in and qualifies for the program.
